The emotional board fosters the culture of accountability while adapting, adopting and demonstrating behaviours that have a positive impact.  Structures, procedures, practices and policies are important, but if values and behaviours are ignored or not paid  sufficient attention, the governance and leadership can gradually deteriorate and eventually have a destructive and damaging effect.
