Breaking Shame began as a very personal journey rooted in a place of searching, healing and learning. Heather wanted to reclaim who she is through faith and truth. She talks honestly about shame, walking through hell, high waters and how she got through very challenging seasons of her life. She admits she felt totally devalued, developed a ton of negative enotions and began behaving in such a negative way, that she invited trouble to come into her life.
Trauma impact can lead to great suffering, loss of confidence, self doubt, lack of trust and low self esteem.
“Transformation is possible. I wanted to remind anyone who feels lost or judged that even if someone looks bad or sems to be going down the wrong road, they can still choose to change for the good. This is my story of faith, trust, determination, courage, strength and belief” says author, Heather Buzzard. Heather specifically desires to inspire adopted children to find their birth parents when they have the courage to love themselves enough to take what she refers to as ‘a leap of faith’.
This book wrenches at the heart and ends with a note of redemption and hope. Heather thank you for sharing your heart with the world.
